The team finished the Jammers Weekend League regular season with a 7 – 3 record, only losing to Jammers, IFS and team Soldiers. A return to form after a subpar start to the season (2 wins, 2 losses), saw Entourage BBALL win five consecutive games.
Coach Dave was hoping to finish the regular season on a 6 game streak but the team could only muster 7 players for game 10 last weekend against the Soldiers. Soldiers for their part leaned heavily on their player/coach (and ProAM star) Jemell to participate and his inclusion helped the youngsters get the 83:67 win against the defending champs.
Up next: the playoffs.
Format being the 4 best teams of the regular season squaring off in the semifinals to determine who gets to the championship game. Unfortunately, Jammers Basketball Association has been very unreliable at delivering information, schedules etc. all season long, 10 games in and there still are no league standings on the official Website, but rumour has it that the semifinals will be April 9th with the Championship game slated for the 23rd.
We’ll update the playoff schedule here as soon as we receive confirmation from the league. Till then, the Entourage roster will do it’s best to stay focused and ready for the chance to repeat as champs.
