The two-time defending FastBreak Men’s League champions advance to their 3rd consecutive Title game by defeating FastBreak-Orange 68-56 in the playoff semifinals.
Coming off an incredible 2018, undefeated throughout the calendar year, EntourageBBall Inc’s Weekday squad had a sluggish start to the Spring 2019 season. An opening night win was swiftly followed by a close loss to a revamped FastBreak-Black team. This broke the team’s 27-game win streak, reason for the Champs to go into a slump?
Not at all.
The Men-in-Green reeled off 10-straight wins in determined fashion, took a measure of revenge against FastBreak-Black with a 20-Point drubbing this April, then sealed their position as the top seed heading into the playoffs.

Not even the loss of Big men Lukas (First-Team All League selection Fall 2018) and Thomas this season could stop the E.B.I-Rampage as they tore through new teams Lions & SMU as well as established opponents (United Nations, FastBreak Teams & Sharks). The team rotation is slightly more compact this Spring but the welcome return of Terrence and more minutes for Veterans like Gerry helped the team gain traction as the regular season progressed.

The backbone of the squad for the 4th year running is EntourageBBall Center-extraordinaire Jean Baptiste. JB has had a resurgent year, following up his selection to the All-League First team last season with what might be his best season in the FastBreak League yet.

Averaging a double-double (22 & 12), the league’s 3rd best scorer and premier rebounder has improved at the charity stripe, important being the most-fouled man in the league and even hit his only 3-Point attempt of the season, a first for him.
Coming Wednesday, May 29th (9PM @ UWC-Tampines East) the team will attempt to defeat FastBreak-Black for the second time this season. The reward: a third straight League Championship.
A Threepeat would be the second time an E.B.I-Team has achieved this rarity, following the Weekend-Squad’s dominant 2016/2017 run in the currently defunct Crossover League.
